The Wytches / February, March and April 2017 UK Tour

The Sherlocks / February and March 2017 UK/Irish Tour

Sheffield rock band The Sherlocks have announced a new UK and Irish tour for the new year, their biggest one yet. And it’s pretty massive, seeing the group performing nearly every single night in February and the first half of March. Tickets are on sale this Friday, the 18th of November, at 10 AM. Tom Chaplin / May 2017 UK/Irish Tour

Keane frontman and now a solo artist in his own right Tom Chaplin has announced a new UK and Irish tour for next May. He’ll be supporting his debut solo album ‘The Wave’, which was released earlier this month on Island Records in the UK. (The American release will follow in January 2017.) Chaplin kindly provided more insight into his new record and the events that led him to write its songs in an interview with me that posted recently on TGTF (read part 1 and part 2 through those links).

Chaplin is currently out on a sold out tour of Britain, playing in intimate venues across the country. These new dates in Blighty and Eire will go on sale this Thursday, the 27th of October, at 9 AM. The last tour’s tickets went in a blink of an eye, so if you’re keen on getting tickets to this, be ready on the phone and computer on Thursday morning. Socially conscious Northern band VANT will be very busy in the coming weeks. In addition to support slots previously announced with You Me at Six and Nothing But Thieves, they have revealed their own headline dates in the UK for next month. Perennial American jokesters – and awesome music duo to boot – We Are Scientists have announced details of a massive UK and Irish tour for this autumn. They’ll be touring in support of their sixth album ‘Helter Seltzer’, which was released back in the spring. You can read Steven’s review of the long player through this link. KT Tunstall / October and November 2016 UK/Irish Tour

Scottish songstress KT Tunstall has announced a list of autumn tour dates in the UK and Ireland to accompany the release of her new EP ‘Golden State’. Tunstall signed to the newly relaunched Caroline Records back in February and is expected to release a full album later this year. Her current ‘Golden State’ EP is digital-only, except for a physical CD release exclusive to Barnes & Noble stores in the United States.
