Gill Landry / May and June 2018 English Tour

American singer/songwriter Gill Landry will cross the pond for a handful of live dates in England at the start of summer, following on his recent spring tour of the U.S. west coast. Landry is touring his excellent 2017 album ‘Love Rides a Dark Horse’, but as I heard when I attended his show at San Francisco’s Hotel Utah on the 31st of March, he’s including a strong mix of older songs in his live set as well. You can check out a couple of photos from that show just below, and at the bottom of the page, you’ll find a live video performance of one of my favourite older Gill Landry tunes, ‘Dixie’, courtesy of Ditty TV.

Will Varley / October and November 2018 UK Tour

Kent singer/songwriter Will Varley has announced a lengthy UK tour for this autumn, on the strength of his recent LP release ‘Spirit of Minnie’, which is out now on Xtra Mile Recordings. Varley only just wrapped up his last UK tour in February, ahead of North American dates with Skinny Lister and his stop in Austin, Texas for SXSW 2018. Sløtface / September and October 2017 UK Tour

Norwegian pop punk band Sløtface will play a lengthy string of live dates in the UK this autumn, supporting their newly released debut album ‘Try Not to Freak Out’, which our own Steven recently reviewed. Sløtface’s UK dates will follow a run of live shows in Germany and the Netherlands and will precede the band’s show in Paris on the 27th of October.

Meadowlark / September and October 2017 UK Tour

Bristol alt-pop duo Meadowlark, comprising singer/keyboardist Kate McGill and guitarist/producer Daniel Broadley, have announced an autumn tour of the UK in support of their debut LP ‘Postcards’. The album is out now on AllPoints and features the dreamy title track as well as new single ‘Body Lose’. You can watch the rather unique promo video for the ‘Postcards’ single, directed by Broadley himself, just below the tour date listing.

In addition to the upcoming headline tour, Meadowlark are listed for a series of festival appearances later this summer; you can find all the details on their official Web site. Michael Kiwanuka / October 2017 UK Tour

Following the selling out of his previously announced English tour slated for this spring, British soul singer/songwriter Michael Kiwanuka has some good news for fans who missed out on tickets to the shows in April and May. He has revealed additional dates for this autumn, at some truly breathtaking symphonic venues, to further support his 2016 album ‘Love & Hate’.
