Bombay Bicycle Club / December 2014 UK Tour

Update: due to increased demand, a second Manchester Apollo date has been added 03/09/2014 for the 8th of December.

Rounding off a summer full of festival dates, North London quartet Bombay Bicycle Club have just announced the details of their largest ever UK tour, including a show at London’s Earls Court on the 13th of December. According to the band’s press release, “this tour is not only their biggest in terms of venue, but also in terms of sound” and will feature “an expanded live line-up to cater to the ever-increasing range and complexity of their songs”.

Support on these tour dates will come from Peace and Sivu. Tickets go on sale Thursday the 21st of August at 9 AM, except for the London date, which is on sale now.

Kaiser Chiefs / January and February 2015 UK Tour

In the midst of a busy festival-filled summer including Glastonbury, T in the Park and this weekend’s V Festival, Kaiser Chiefs have announced a headline tour of the UK to start off 2015. The band will finish 2014 with tour dates in America, Europe and South Africa, which can be found on the band’s Web site. ‘My Life’, the third single from Kaiser Chiefs’ album ‘Education, Education, Education & War’ will drop the 22nd of September on Fiction / Caroline International.

Tickets for the following shows go on sale this Friday, the 15th of August, at 9 AM, except for Leeds and London, which are available now. Read all of our past coverage on the Kaisers here.

Augustines / November and December 2014 UK Tour

Seattle-based American group Augustines are set to release ‘Weary Eyes’, the third single from their recent self-titled album, on the 8th of September. (Mary reviewed the album here. You can take a listen to ‘Weary Eyes’ below the tour date listing.) The release will be followed by a tour of the UK, culminating with a date at the London Roundhouse.

Tickets for the following shows are available through a fan presale on the band’s Web site tonight at 9 PM. The general sale for all dates begins Friday the 8th of August at 9 AM, except for the London show, which is available now.

Forget the ‘One Night in October’ jokes, please. Those lovable Geordies Little Comets have announced a UK tour that very month this year, October 2014. Tickets are on sale next Tuesday, the 8th of July.

Multifaceted singer/songwriter Paloma Faith has just announced a full UK tour for this autumn, following a handful of May shows around the release of her upcoming single, ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’. The newly-released video for that song, from her recent album ‘A Perfect Contradiction’, can be found below the tour date listing.
