Syd Arthur / October and November 2016 English/Irish Tour

Canterbury psych-rock band Syd Arthur will play a list of live shows in England and Ireland later this autumn, around the release of their new LP ‘Apricity’. The album is due out on the 21st of October via Communion in the UK and Harvest Records in North America. You can take a listen to its third promo single ‘No Peace’ just below the tour date listing.

Syd Arthur are currently on tour in North America supporting Jake Bugg through the end of September. They will return to England to play a handful of shows with Austin, Texas rock band White Denim ahead of the headline dates listed below.  A full listing of Syd Arthur’s upcoming live dates, including their album launch in Canterbury on the 18th of November, can be found on their official Facebook. Avec Sans / November 2016 English Tour

London electropop duo Avec Sans have announced a short list of live dates in England supporting their recent new album ‘Heartbreak Hi’. Released back in July, the album contains 13 tracks, including a cover of Bon Iver‘s ‘Perth’. Along with the tour date announcement, Avec Sans have unveiled a new video for ‘Perth’, which you can view at the bottom of the page.

Cocos Lovers / October 2014 English Tour

Indie alt-folk collective Cocos Lovers have just announced a list of October tour dates with fellow folkies Hot Feet. In addition to the following dates, the two bands will appear at the Homegrown Festival in Bury St. Edmunds and the Carefully Planned Festival in Manchester on the 18th and 19th of October, respectively. They will wrap up the tour with a late November show at the Canterbury Gulbenkian. Tickets for these dates are available now.

Nathan Connolly’s Snow Patrol spin-off, Little Matador, has just announced a new list of tour dates following their support slot for Band of Skulls at the end of March and presumably leading up to the release of their first LP later this year. (Stream their ‘Liar Liar’ EP here.)

Frank Turner / February 2014 UK Tour

Everyone’s favourite guitar-toting bandolero Frank Turner has a short (for him) arena tour scheduled for February. Turner’s next release will be an EP, ‘Polaroid Picture’, out right before the tour, on the 3rd of February on Xtra Mile Recordings. While Edinburgh and Plymouth have sold out, tickets are still available for the other dates of the tour, including a solo show in his hometown of Winchester on Valentine’s Day night. Lucy Rose has announced a massive tour of the UK and Ireland for this autumn. A presale begins tomorrow (29 Wednesday 2012), with the general sale on Friday 31 August at 9 AM.

Her debut album ‘Like I Used To’, featuring singles ‘Bikes’ and ‘Lines’, will be released on the 24th of September on Columbia.
