Saint Etienne / December 2015 English Tour

Synth pop trio Saint Etienne have announced a Christmas tour for this December, along with news of two special releases to accompany the upcoming live dates.  Fan club release ‘A Glimpse of Stocking’ has been made available for the first time on vinyl in a 2,000-copy limited edition, and previously unreleased track ‘We Survived’, recorded in 1984, is available in an even more limited 300-copy edition.  In addition to selling the discs in their Web shop, Saint Etienne will sell 25 copies of ‘We Survived’ – first come, first served – at each show on their Christmas docket.

Each show on the December tour will feature a different support act, as noted below, as well as special guest DJs on each night.  Tickets for the following shows are available now.

Cast / October and November 2015 UK/Irish Tour

Veteran Britpop band Cast have announced a brand new album via PledgeMusic, along with a lengthy run of live shows in the UK and Ireland for later this autumn.  The band released the first track from the new album, titled ‘Baby Blue Eyes’, earlier this year.  You can listen to that track, which is also being offered as a free download, just below the tour date listing.

Following their October and November live dates, Cast will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic album ‘All Change’ with a show at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, featuring the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, on Saturday the 5th of December.  Tickets for the following shows are available now; please note that several dates have already sold out.

The Wytches / November and December 2015 UK Tour

Brighton-based psychedelic rock band The Wytches have announced a massive new UK headline tour for October and November of this year. At these dates, the band will be airing new material beyond than their 2014 Heavenly Recordings debut album ‘Annabel Dream Reader’. Tickets go on sale today, Friday the 18th of September, at 9 AM, except for previously announced shows including their participation with the Beacons Metro ongoing festival taking place at Leeds Headrow House this autumn and a Dr. Martens #standforsomething tour date in Sheffield, which is now sold out.

Ash / June 2015 UK/Irish Tour

Ash have been hard at work in the studio putting the finishing touches on a new album for this year, and they’ve announced they’ll be releasing ‘Kablammo!’ very soon. In the meantime though, they’ve revealed the first single from the LP, ‘Cocoon’, which you can listen to below, as well as a short UK/Irish tour for June. They’ll also be appearing at Wakefield’s Long Division Festival and the Isle of Wight that month as well. Tickets to the individual gigs go on sale tomorrow, Friday the 20th of February, at 9 AM.

Dry the River have announced a run of English tour dates leading into the release of their new single ‘Rollerskate’, which is due out on the 9th of March via Transgressive. The single comes from their recent second album ‘Alarms In The Heart’, and the new live dates follow successful runs in both the UK and North America last autumn. Tickets for the following newly announced shows are available now.

The Twilight Sad / April 2015 UK Tour

Following on from the last UK tour they did that ended in early October, The Twilight Sad have revealed plans for a brand new list of live dates for April 2015. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday the 5th of November, at 9 AM. ‘Nobody Wants to Be Here and Nobody Wants to Leave’, the band’s fourth album, was released last week on FatCat Records and is available now.
