The Courteneers / November 2016 UK Tour

Liam Fray and the Courteneers like to do things big. The Manchester band favourites’ latest tour announcement proves this extends to their travel plans around the UK, which includes 12 stops. (Oddly, Manchester has been omitted from the tour. Christmas hometown show, perhaps?) They’ll be supporting upcoming fifth album ‘Mapping the Rendezvous’, which is slated for release on the 21st of October on PIAS. Tickets are on sale now for all the dates below. The Dunwells / April 2016 UK Tour

Leeds alt-rockers the Dunwells will play a run of live dates in the UK this spring, following the release of their new album ‘Light Up the Sky’ and their trip to America for SXSW 2016.  The album is out today on Decca/Concord (Carrie’s review posts today at noon), but we at TGTF have already featured several tracks from it in our collected coverage of the Dunwells.

Support for the ‘Light Up the Sky’ tour will be played by American indie rock band Bronze Radio Return. Tickets for the following shows are available now.

Lucy Rose / October and November 2015 UK/Irish Tour

Warwickshire singer/songwriter Lucy Rose has just announced a lengthy tour of the UK and Ireland for October and November in support of her upcoming second album ‘Work It Out’.  The album is due for release on the 6th of July via Columbia Records and is being billed as a move away from Rose’s familiar folk sound, “creating a bold new context” for her singing voice and acoustic guitar.  You can stream the audio for Rose’s latest single ‘Like An Arrow’ just below the tour date listing.

After her full summer schedule of festival appearances, which is set to include Bushstock, T in the Park, and Reading and Leeds, Rose will embark on the following list of headline dates, which go on sale tomorrow, Friday the 29th of May, at 10 AM.  Our extensive previous coverage of Lucy Rose can be found right back here.

Example / October and November 2014 UK Tour

Dance-rap-rock star Example is set to bring his multi-faceted live show on a lengthy 26-stop tour of the UK this autumn, following the release of his upcoming single ’10 Million People’, due out on the 5th of October. The new track is taken from Example’s recent Top Ten album ‘Live Life Living’, which was reviewed here by our David back in July.
