Cast / October and November 2015 UK/Irish Tour

Veteran Britpop band Cast have announced a brand new album via PledgeMusic, along with a lengthy run of live shows in the UK and Ireland for later this autumn.  The band released the first track from the new album, titled ‘Baby Blue Eyes’, earlier this year.  You can listen to that track, which is also being offered as a free download, just below the tour date listing.

Following their October and November live dates, Cast will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic album ‘All Change’ with a show at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, featuring the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, on Saturday the 5th of December.  Tickets for the following shows are available now; please note that several dates have already sold out.

The Wytches / November and December 2015 UK Tour

Brighton-based psychedelic rock band The Wytches have announced a massive new UK headline tour for October and November of this year. At these dates, the band will be airing new material beyond than their 2014 Heavenly Recordings debut album ‘Annabel Dream Reader’. Tickets go on sale today, Friday the 18th of September, at 9 AM, except for previously announced shows including their participation with the Beacons Metro ongoing festival taking place at Leeds Headrow House this autumn and a Dr. Martens #standforsomething tour date in Sheffield, which is now sold out.

The Crookes / November 2014 English Tour

According to their record label Fierce Panda, Sheffield indie rockers The Crookes are “never knowingly underemployed”, and in keeping with that mantra, they have announced a list of live shows in England to follow their current American tour.

To accompany their American tour dates, the band have released ‘When You’re Fragile’, from their recent LP ‘Soapbox’, to American radio. The track will also feature as a b-side to upcoming single ‘Howl’, due for release on the 24th of November to coincide with their live shows on this side of the pond. Little Comets / October 2014 UK Tour

Forget the ‘One Night in October’ jokes, please. Those lovable Geordies Little Comets have announced a UK tour that very month this year, October 2014. Tickets are on sale next Tuesday, the 8th of July.

If you’re wondering where the London date is (it definitely threw me), at the bottom of the tour poster is the note, “A special little London gig will be announced soon.” So stay tuned. In the meantime, you might want to see our past coverage on Little Comets here.

Wolf Alice / May 2014 UK Tour

London quartet Wolf Alice have just announced a May 2014 tour of the UK, to follow their appearance at SXSW 2014 in March. Tour dates include festival appearances at Liverpool Sound City, Live at Leeds, and Stockton’s Sunday Live the first May bank holiday, as well as the band’s largest headline show to date at London Scala on the 28th of May. Wolf Alice will be joined by Superfood on all dates except on 12th of May. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday the 5th February at 9 AM.

The band’s EP ‘Blush’ is out now on Chess Club Records. Check out the video for the song of the same title below the tour date listing.

London bands Sons and Lovers (pictured above) and Eliza and the Bear and solo artist Fred Page will be joining forces on a tour in February as part of the Satellite ‘New Music. New Circuit’ Tour.
