Honne / October 2015 UK Tour

On the heels of their recent EP release ‘Over Lover’, London-based duo Honne have announced their first-ever headline tour of the UK for this October.  ‘Over Lover’ was released on the 2nd of September via the band’s own label imprint Tatemae Recordings/Atlantic Records. You can listen to its groovy lead single ‘Loves The Jobs You Hate’ just below the tour date listing.

Cast / October and November 2015 UK/Irish Tour

Veteran Britpop band Cast have announced a brand new album via PledgeMusic, along with a lengthy run of live shows in the UK and Ireland for later this autumn.  The band released the first track from the new album, titled ‘Baby Blue Eyes’, earlier this year.  You can listen to that track, which is also being offered as a free download, just below the tour date listing.

Following their October and November live dates, Cast will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic album ‘All Change’ with a show at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, featuring the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, on Saturday the 5th of December.  Tickets for the following shows are available now; please note that several dates have already sold out.

The Wytches / November and December 2015 UK Tour

Brighton-based psychedelic rock band The Wytches have announced a massive new UK headline tour for October and November of this year. At these dates, the band will be airing new material beyond than their 2014 Heavenly Recordings debut album ‘Annabel Dream Reader’. Tickets go on sale today, Friday the 18th of September, at 9 AM, except for previously announced shows including their participation with the Beacons Metro ongoing festival taking place at Leeds Headrow House this autumn and a Dr. Martens #standforsomething tour date in Sheffield, which is now sold out.

East India Youth / September and October 2015 UK Tour

Including a London Fred Perry Sub-Sonic Live date next week purported to be his “last show in London this year, probably for quite a long time”, East India Youth (aka solo electronic multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter William Doyle) has a series of live dates in September and October 2015 that will likely finish up his tour campaign for second album ‘Culture of Volume’, which was released on XL Recordings back in April. (Read my review of the LP this way.) He’ll also make an appearance Saturday at Birmingham’s All Years Leaving Festival, taking place at the Hare and Hounds on the 24th of October.

Glasgow synthpop trio Prides have recently unveiled details of a massive headline tour of the UK and Ireland for this autumn.  The 23 live dates will include a show at the London Koko on the 12th of November and a hometown show at Glasgow’s ABC on the 21st of November.  Support on all dates will be played by fellow Glaswegians Fatherson.

Broken Hands / October and November 2015 UK Tour

Kentish prog rock quintet Broken Hands will mark the release of their debut album ‘Turbulence’ with a run of headline dates in the UK this October and November.  ‘Turbulence’ is scheduled to drop on the 9th of October via So Recordings, and the tour kicks off in Manchester on the 28th of the month.  Support for the first five dates of the tour will be played by Get Inuit, while the guest slot for the London show will be filled by Bateman.
