Hot Chip / October 2015 UK Tour

Electro-pop quintet Hot Chip have announced a new run of headline dates in the UK for October including London’s Brixton Academy on the 22nd of October. The new live dates follow Hot Chip’s already sold out UK dates in May, which coincide with their new album ‘Why Make Sense?’, due for release on the 18th of May on Domino Records. Along with the live dates announcement, Hot Chip have also released a limited edition white label 12” featuring remixes of ‘Need You Now’ from Percussions (Kieran Hebden) and ‘Huarache Lights’ from band member Joe Goddard.

The band’s scheduled summer festival appearances include Glastonbury, T in the Park and Green Man. A full listing of Hot Chip’s worldwide live dates can be found on the band’s Web site.

Tickets for the following shows will be available for general sale starting Friday the 24th of April at 10 AM. Support on the October UK headline dates comes from new Domino signing Georgia for all dates except London, which will be opened by LoneLady. James Bay / September and October 2015 UK/Irish Tour

Hot on the heels of his recent album release, James Bay has announced an autumn tour of the UK and Ireland in addition to his previously scheduled April tour dates. Bay’s LP ‘Chaos and the Calm’ came out last week, just after his appearances at SXSW 2015 in Austin, Texas. If you missed it, you can read my review of ‘Chaos and the Calm’ right here.

Rae Morris / October 2015 UK Tour

Hot on the heels of her sold out February tour in support of debut album ‘Unguarded’ released on Atlantic in January (read David’s review here), pop singer/songwriter Rae Morris has announced a new set of UK headline dates for this October. Ahead of the new October dates, Morris will play the Dot 2 Dot and Love Saves the Day festivals in May before spending June and July opening for Tom Odell. Morris is also on the bill for several late summer festivals; check her Web site for full details.

Fall Out Boy / October 2015 UK Tour

American stadium rockers Fall Out Boy have just announced a massive arena tour of the UK for this October. The announcement coincided with their intimate show at London’s Islington Assembly Rooms last night, leading up to the release of their sixth album ‘American Beauty / American Psycho’ next Monday, on the 19th of January. The video for the album’s title track has already garnered over two million views on YouTube; if you haven’t seen it already, you can watch it below the tour date listing. Tickets for the following shows go on sale tomorrow, Friday the 16th of January, at 9 AM.
