Cocos Lovers / October 2014 English Tour

Indie alt-folk collective Cocos Lovers have just announced a list of October tour dates with fellow folkies Hot Feet. In addition to the following dates, the two bands will appear at the Homegrown Festival in Bury St. Edmunds and the Carefully Planned Festival in Manchester on the 18th and 19th of October, respectively. They will wrap up the tour with a late November show at the Canterbury Gulbenkian. Tickets for these dates are available now.

Dance pop songstress Katy B’s second album ‘Little Red’ went straight to #1 on its release in back February, and she quickly followed that success with a sold out headline tour in March.  She has recently announced a new set of headline dates for October featuring special guest Becky Hill.  Tickets for the following dates are available now.

Electro-soul duo Anushka have announced a list of autumn tour dates in support of their album ‘Broken Circuit’, out now on Brownwood Records. The Brighton-based duo of Max Wheeler and Victoria Port will play a handful of festival dates prior to their UK engagements, as well as appearing at the Suprette Festival in Neuchatel, Switzerland on the 24th of October. Royal Blood / October and November 2014 UK and Irish Tour

Brighton blues rock duo Royal Blood have followed up their #1-selling debut album with a list of European headline dates including the UK and Ireland.  (If you haven’t already read it, you can take a look back at Mary’s review of the eponymous chart-topper ‘Royal Blood’ from earlier this week.)  The band will head across the pond at the end of September for another round of shows in North America before they kick off the European leg of their tour.  A complete list of worldwide tour dates can be found on Royal Blood’s official Web site.  Tickets for the following shows go on sale Friday the 5th of September at 9 AM.

Prog-rock quartet Syd Arthur, who melted my face off earlier this year at SXSW 2014, have announced a full headline tour of the UK, starting in just under 3 weeks’ time. The band’s new single ‘Autograph’, from their recent album ‘Sound Mirror’, will be released on the 6th of October through Harvest Records. Hyde and Beast / October 2014 UK Tour

Drummers-turned-songwriters Hyde and Beast (otherwise known as Dave Hyde and Neil Bassett) have announced a headline tour of the UK to follow on the August release of their second album ‘Keep Moving’. The album has already received airplay on BBC 6music, where its title track was featured as a Single of the Week on Shaun Keaveny’s breakfast show.
