Back in October, Young Rebel Set graced their local record shop Sound It Out Records to play an in-store gig. This video has clips of that performance, as well as intimate chats with each of their members about band dynamics and each other. Something pretty special. Watch it below.

‘Crocodile’, Young Rebel Set’s latest album, was released in the autumn. Catch the band on tour in February and March; they’re also playing a Middlesbrough Christmas show on the 23rd of December.

Live Gig Video: Spector play ‘Chevy Thunder’ at London Birthdays on Dr. Martens’ #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour

I’ve been wondering what Spector have been up to, and the question in my mind was answered by an email this week. Last month, the band headlined a show at Birthdays in East London on the Dr. Martens’ #STANDFORSOMETHING Tour, and here’s a performance of Fred Macpherson and co. playing the American-sounding (to me) ‘Chevy Thunder’. Watch it below.

A while back, we also posted this live video of Young Guns performing on the same tour in Bristol.

Live Gig Video: a snippet of Jessie J performing to a sold out crowd at the London O2

By on Tuesday, 12th November 2013 at 4:00 pm

Now blonde and kind of looking like Miley Cyrus, Jessie J just finished up a sold-out arena tour of the UK and has released this clip of a performance of ‘Alive’ from the London O2. This sort of gyrating in skintight clothing is not my cup of tea at all, but thousands of fans can’t be wrong. Or can they? Watch below and make up your own mind.
