KT Tunstall / May 2017 UK Tour

Scottish singer/songwriter and now L.A. transplant KT Tunstall has announced a new UK tour for next spring. Tunstall just released her fifth studio album ‘KIN’ in September, out now on Virgin EMI. (Read Rebecca’s review of the artist’s LP through here.) She finished a tour of most larger markets of the UK 2 weeks ago. Admirably, Tunstall has announced another UK tour for next May, this time for different, mostly smaller towns in between her bigger stops the last time around. Starsailor / October 2015 UK Tour

Following the hiatus of lead vocalist James Walsh, whose debut solo album ‘Turning Point’ was released last year, Manchester four-piece Starsailor have reunited and announced a 13-date headline tour of the UK for this October.  Starsailor’s most recent LP release was 2009’s ‘All The Plans’; their debut album ‘Love Is Here’ went platinum in the UK in 2001.  Below the tour date listing, you can view the official video for a track from that album titled ‘Alcoholic’.

Ahead of their October live dates, Starsailor are currently touring North America with Yorkshire alt-rockers Embrace.  Tickets for the following shows go on sale tomorrow, Friday, the 12th of June, at 9 AM.

Lucy Rose / October and November 2015 UK/Irish Tour

Warwickshire singer/songwriter Lucy Rose has just announced a lengthy tour of the UK and Ireland for October and November in support of her upcoming second album ‘Work It Out’.  The album is due for release on the 6th of July via Columbia Records and is being billed as a move away from Rose’s familiar folk sound, “creating a bold new context” for her singing voice and acoustic guitar.  You can stream the audio for Rose’s latest single ‘Like An Arrow’ just below the tour date listing.

The Wytches / October, November and December 2014 UK Tour

Brighton based psych rock trio The Wytches have announced their largest ever headline tour beginning this October. The band have split their 14 UK dates around a quick headlining trip to America, finishing the UK leg at home in Brighton on the 4th of December.

Before the tour begins, The Wytches will celebrate the release of their debut LP ‘Annabel Dream Reader’ with a special multi-venue series of performances on Monday the 25th of August on Heavenly Recordings. Tickets for the release shows will be extremely limited; for a chance to buy them you’ll need to sign up to the band’s mailing list. Tickets for the final show of the evening at Brighton’s Bleach can be found here.

Tickets for the following headline tour dates will be available beginning today, Friday the 15th of August, at 9 AM.

Sky Larkin have released a unique video for track ‘Newsworthy’, off their September 2013 album ‘Motto’ out now on Wichita Recordings. This is a lyric video (“the cacophony is coming for me”) but with archived footage appropriate to the song title. Watch it below.

The Leeds band have also revealed plans to tour the UK in April and will also appear at Gold Sounds Festival in Leeds in late May; all the details are below the video embed.
