Elbow / February and March 2017 UK/Irish Tour

It feels weird to see a photo of Elbow as a quartet, doesn’t it? But Manchester’s hometown heroes are indeed now down to four in number, and they have announced a full arena tour for the beginning of next year, their first without the services of recently departed drummer Richard Jupp. The massive tour announcement comes in support of Elbow’s forthcoming seventh studio album, whose title is yet to be announced, but which is due for release via Polydor on the 3rd of February next year.

The Undivided / October 2016 English Tour

Welsh indie rockers The Undivided will take a trip through England near the end of October, bringing with them the sounds of their debut album ‘Satellites’. Our editor Mary was impressed impressed enough with the band’s recent single ‘Invincible’ that she made a point to catch them live earlier this year at Canadian Music Week 2016; you can read her thoughts here.

Ahead of the following October tour dates, The Undivided will appear at Manchester’s Indie Week, which runs from the 12th to the 16th of October. Tickets for the following shows, including the recently added Brighton date, are available now.

Brighton rock duo Royal Blood have just announced that they will follow their sold out autumn tour of the UK and Ireland with another round of live dates scheduled for early next year. The new string of shows is part of a massive European tour, which will include the band’s largest ever headline appearance at the Brixton Academy in London. Dance-rap-rock star Example is set to bring his multi-faceted live show on a lengthy 26-stop tour of the UK this autumn, following the release of his upcoming single ’10 Million People’, due out on the 5th of October. The new track is taken from Example’s recent Top Ten album ‘Live Life Living’, which was reviewed here by our David back in July.

2012 has been a quintessentially British year, so why let that stop in 2013? (If the world doesn’t end next week…) The Specials are doing 10 dates around Britain and are undoubtedly a band that must be seen before you snuff it.
