Keston Cobblers’ Club / April 2017 English Tour

Folk pop group Keston Cobblers’ Club will be releasing a new album at the end of next month. ‘Almost Home’, their third and the follow-up to 2015’s critically acclaimed ‘Wildfire’ (read Carrie’s review of it here), will drop on the 31st of March. While the band led by siblings Matthew and Julia Lowe are starry-eyed over a European tour that is currently in the works, they have an English tour in April already planned to support the new release. Tickets are on sale now to the following dates, which fill up nearly every evening in the second half of the month. We’re expecting a slew of summer festival dates to follow in due course too. Under the tour dates, you can have a taste of their forthcoming LP in the form of the title track’s music video. The Sherlocks / February and March 2017 UK/Irish Tour

Sheffield rock band The Sherlocks have announced a new UK and Irish tour for the new year, their biggest one yet. And it’s pretty massive, seeing the group performing nearly every single night in February and the first half of March. Tickets are on sale this Friday, the 18th of November, at 10 AM. Lonely the Brave / April and May 2016 English Tour

Alt-rockers Lonely the Brave will play a list of English dates around the rapidly approaching release of their new album ‘Things Will Matter’ on the 20th of May. Support for the tour will come from Swedish Death Candy, with special appearances by Fatherson and Grumble Bee. Along with the headline dates listed below, Lonely the Brave will play the Handmade Festival in Leicester on the 30th of April and the Common People Festival in Southampton on the 28th of May.

Arcane Roots / April and May 2015 UK Tour

Alt-rock heavyweights Arcane Roots have just announced a massive UK tour in anticipation of their forthcoming full length release. The band have also hinted at a new single release around their UK live dates. They will finish this extensive tour with two shows at London Oslo, the first including a full performance of their mini album ‘Left Fire’ and the second comprising an interactive show where the band will take set list suggestions from fans.

In addition to this full month of touring, Arcane Roots are on the lineup for the Takedown Festival on the 7th of March, Live at Leeds on the 2nd of May and the 2000 Trees Festival on the 9th of July. Marika Hackman has just announced a list of live dates for March and April, following the highly anticipated release of her debut album ‘We Slept at Last’, due out on the 16th of February. Hackman and her new live band will play 18 headline dates on the spring tour, including a show at Manchester’s Night and Day on the 4th of April. Duke Special / March, April and May 2015 UK/Irish Tour

Northern Irish singer/songwriter Duke Special has just unveiled a lengthy list of UK and Irish tour dates for next spring in anticipation of his upcoming album ‘Look Out Machines’. The album is due for release in 2015 via Duke Special’s current PledgeMusic campaign, but he’s already released a video for its first single ‘Elephant Graveyard’, which you can view below the tour date listing.

Prior to his spring live dates, Duke Special will take on an extensive tour of Ireland and Northern Ireland starting in January; all of those dates are listed on his official Web site. Previous TGTF coverage of Duke Special can be found here.

Support for Duke Special’s March UK tour dates will be provided by London singer/songwriter Paul Cook and The Chronicles. Tickets for the following shows are available now.
