Propaganda Offers Up Dream Club Promoter Job in Sydney, Australia

Like going to clubs? Are you a master socialiser? Are you between the ages of 18 and 30 and live in the UK? Are you imaginative and clever? Well then, Propaganda has the job of a lifetime for you. The company that you no doubt have heard of by their many club properties across the UK is running a contest this month to find the right person to represent and promote the Propaganda Sydney club and to oversee the World Bar – yes, down under.

Take a look at this rather exciting description of the position from the press release: “This dream professional socialite and front-line party soldier job will not only give one lucky winner the chance to work with the fantastic team at Propaganda and the World Bar, they’ll also get to circumnavigate the globe courtesy of round-the-world flights, party at Australia’s best festivals and enjoy holiday packages to take in the sun, surf and snow of Australia and New Zealand.” Bloody hell. I wish I could enter!

The paid position is for a full 12 months starting in October 2011 and will include once in a lifetime work experiences that you could only get in a posh position like this in Australia. Other perks include:

· Round the world flights (London-Bangkok-Sydney-Auckland-LA-New York)
· First 2 months’ accommodation in Sydney
· AU$250 weekly hospitality schmoozing allowance at the World Bar Sydney
· Surf trip to Byron Bay courtesy of Mojo Surf (FYI: Byron Bay is near the Splendour in the Grass music festival held every July)
· Festival tickets for Future Music and Summadayze
· Kiwi Experience trip around New Zealand
· Queenstown holiday package courtesy of Mojo Snow

Keen? Head on over to the official entry form on Propaganda’s Web site for more information. Note: DO NOT ENTER YOUR DETAILS ON TGTF; entries will only be collected on Propaganda’s Web site. Good luck!

Random Aside #6

I have a lot of uni work and people to catch up with at the moment, so in my absense I’ll leave you in the (more than capable) hands of Steve Jobs, who did the (now rather famous) commencement speech for the 2005 graduating class at Stanford.

Graduation seems so very long away for me at the moment, but this speech is one hell of a motivator for me.
