Go! Team for NME Freshers tour

Go! TeamThe Go! Team have announced that they’ll be headlining the NME Freshers tour of universities across the land in late September and early October. They’ll be joined by Operator Please and The Satin Peaches.

The tour is reportedly open to both students and non-students… expect tickets to go quickly when they go on sale.

Tuesday 25th September – Edinburgh Uni
Thursday 27th September – Northumbria Uni
Friday 28th September – Liverpool Guild
Saturday 29th September – Loughborough Uni
Monday 1st October – Preston 53 Degrees
Tuesday 2nd October – Bangor Uni
Thursday 4th October – Cardiff Uni
Friday 5th October – Warwick Uni
Saturday 6th October – Plymouth Uni
Sunday 7th October – Bournemouth Old Fire Station

Not many new tours being announced at the moment…however:

Bon Jovi are set to play the first ever date at the O2 Arena in London (formerly the Millenium Dome) on Sunday 24th June.

Tickets on sale tomorrow morning (19th April) at 9am.

The Go! Team have also announced a short UK tour of smaller venues… catch them at:

The Soundhaus, Northampton – Tuesday 12th June
Fez Club, Reading – Thursday 14th June

Connect Festival announces more bands for its lineup

I’d never heard of Connect festival before yesterday, when I saw that their lineup had been announced. Wow. Whilst they don’t have bands who have the mass appeal of the likes of Arctic Monkeys (booo! Hisss!) or Snow Patrol, they do have some truley innovative, exciting and interesting bands that make you have faith in the music industry for once.

On the Friday they have:
