It feels weird to see a photo of Elbow as a quartet, doesn’t it? But Manchester’s hometown heroes are indeed now down to four in number, and they have announced a full arena tour for the beginning of next year, their first without the services of recently departed drummer Richard Jupp. The massive tour announcement comes in support of Elbow’s forthcoming seventh studio album, whose title is yet to be announced, but which is due for release via Polydor on the 3rd of February next year.

Tickets for the following shows will be available for general sale now. You can find TGTF’s amassed coverage of Elbow right back this way. Our coverage of frontman Guy Garvey’s recent solo project right through here.

MiC Lowry / February 2017 UK Tour

By on Wednesday, 12th October 2016 at 8:00 am

Vocal harmony group MiC Lowry have announced a handful of live dates for early next year. In what I consider dates so deftly chosen across the UK as if a military manoeuvre, the five-piece will be zigzagging their way across the UK, playing prime locations in just four shows. Tickets to these shows will be on sale this Friday, the 14th of October, at 9 AM.

Way back when, our Martin discovered them at Liverpool Sound City 2013 (when it was still a city festival, sob). To check out what they’ve been doing more recently, you can watch the video for ‘Oh Lord’ below the tour dates below. Our hopefully growing archive on the band is found through here.

Thursday 16th February 2017 – Glasgow ABC2
Saturday 18th February 2017 – Liverpool Academy
