The Courteeners / October and November 2014 UK Tour

Manchester indie rockers the Courteeners have recently announced a lengthy tour of the UK for this autumn in support of their fourth album ‘Concrete Love’ (reviewed here by our own editor Mary). The band will also appear at the Reading and Leeds Festivals this weekend. Tickets for the following headline dates go on sale Friday the 29th of August at 9 AM.

Paolo Nutini / June 2011 English Tour

The lanky Scottish singer that seems to make all the girls swoon, Paolo Nutini, will be playing a handful of dates in England in June, making stops in Blackburn, York and Sunderland. Tickets go on sale Friday (1st of April) at 9 AM.

Nutini is currently working on the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Sunny Side Up’ and it’s reported the new album will be out later this year.

Manic Street Preachers / September, October and November 2010 UK Tour

Manic Street Preachers have announced details about their forthcoming album and an accompanying tour. The album will be called ‘Postcards From A Young Man’ and will be released in September, just prior to the start of an extensive tour of the UK. The jaunt begins 29th September in Glasgow and wraps up on the 1st of November in Cambridge.

Hot Club de Paris / June 2010 UK Tour

Liverpudlians Hot Club de Paris have announced an extensive UK tour for June. The tour begins in Newcastle on 02 June and ends 30 June in Norwich. Tickets for this tour are on sale now.

The band plans to release a new EP entitled ‘The Rise and Inevitable Fall of the High School Suicide Cluster Band’ on 24 May. The EP will be available digitally and on limited hand-numbered 10″ vinyl with artwork they’ve done themselves. Their last release, the ‘With Days Like This as Cheap as Chewing Gum, Why Would Anyone Want to Work?’ EP (reviewed last month here at TGTF), is available now from Moshi Moshi records.
