PINS / April 2017 UK Tour

Manchester all-female five-piece PINS have just released the first single from their upcoming new EP, along with a list of UK tour dates for April of this year. The new single is titled ‘Aggrophobe’ and features a guest vocal from none other than Iggy Pop. You can take a sneak peek at the teaser for ‘Aggrophobe’ just below the tour date listing.

PINS’ April tour will begin in Cardiff on the 10th of April and wind through the UK to finish at home in Manchester on the 22nd. Tickets for the following live shows are available now. TGTF’s previous coverage of PINS is back this way.

Lewis Watson / November and December 2016 and March and April 2017 UK Tour

Oxfordshire singer/songwriter Lewis Watson has announced his new album ‘midnight’ will be released on the 3rd of March 2017 on Cooking Vinyl. To celebrate the forthcoming release, he has unveiled ‘little light’ in the form of a 360-degree video, which you can watch at the bottom of this post. He’s also announced a long list of live dates in the UK for the rest of this year and in March and April 2017 to follow the LP’s release in the new year. We Are Scientists / October and November 2016 UK/Irish Tour

Perennial American jokesters – and awesome music duo to boot – We Are Scientists have announced details of a massive UK and Irish tour for this autumn. They’ll be touring in support of their sixth album ‘Helter Seltzer’, which was released back in the spring. You can read Steven’s review of the long player through this link. Spring King / May 2016 English Tour

Garage rock / pop band Spring King have announced a May 2016 headline tour of England, which concludes with a show at London Scala on the 26th presented by DIY. The Manchester group recently revealed the promo video for ‘Rectifier’, their newest single; we posted the vid in this previous Video of the Moment feature. Tickets to this tour are on sale now. The band have also been announced for the bills of both Live at Leeds on the 20th of April and the Great Escape on the 19th of May.

Fickle Friends / February and March 2016 UK Tour

The ink is barely dry on their newly-signed contract with Polydor Records, but Brighton indie pop band Fickle Friends have just announced a lengthy list of UK tour dates for February and March.  The tour will include a headline show at the Sheffield Leadmill on the 26th of February and a Leap Day gig at Edinburgh’s Electric Circus, before ending with a hometown date on the 12th of March.

Support for select dates will be played by Liverpool rock quartet Clean Cut Kid.  Following these live dates, both bands are scheduled to head across the pond to Austin for SXSW 2016.  Stay tuned for our upcoming Bands to Watch feature, which will cover Fickle Friends and Clean Cut Kid in more detail.

Holy Esque / March, April and May 2016 UK Tour

Scottish rock quartet Holy Esque have planned a list of tour dates in the UK to follow the release of their forthcoming debut LP ‘At Hope’s Ravine’. The album is scheduled for release on the 26th of February via the band’s own record label Beyond the Frequency. Just below the tour date listing, you can have a listen to album track ‘Silences’, which was also part of Holy Esque’s recent double A-sided release.

Holy Esque will play three in-store shows immediately following the album release, including one on Leap Day, the 29th of February. They will head to America for SXSW 2016 in March, with the full UK tour beginning on the 6th of April.  At the end of their UK run, Holy Esque are scheduled to appear at The Great Escape 2016 in May.  Tickets for the following shows are available now.
