Little Comets / February and March 2015 UK Tour

Little Comets have announced a tour of the UK to follow the upcoming release of their 3rd album ‘Hope is Just a State of Mind’, due out on the 16th of February 2015 on their own The Smallest Label. The band are currently running a PledgeMusic campaign for album pre-orders, which is available exclusively to listeners in the UK. Tickets for the following live shows are on sale now.

Prides / February 2015 UK Tour

Hot on the heels of their first UK headline tour, Prides (who Mary just ran into last week in Edinburgh, ha!) have just announced another set of live dates for early next year. The new list includes shows in the band’s native Scotland, as well as their largest headline show to date at London’s Heaven. Tickets for the following shows go on sale today, the 24th of October, at 9 AM.

The Twilight Sad / September and October 2014 UK Tour

Scottish rockers the Twilight Sad will release their fourth album ‘Nobody Wants To Be Here & Nobody Wants To Leave’ on the 27th of October via FatCat Records. You can stream its harrowing lead track ‘There’s a Girl in The Corner’ at the bottom of this page, courtesy of Noisey.

Leading into the album release, the Twilight Sad have announced the following UK tour dates, as well as a North American tour with their labelmates We Were Promised Jetpacks. Full tour information can be found here. The Twilight Sad will also appear at Richmond Park in Glasgow with a host of other Scottish bands, including Mogwai and Honeyblood, on the 30th of August.

Temples / November and December 2014 UK Tour

Temples have announced a list of UK tour dates to accompany the release of their deluxe album ‘Sun Restructured’. Described as a “re-animation’ of their debut album ‘Sun Structures’ (reviewed by Martin here), the new release was created by Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve (aka Erol Alkan and Richard Norris) and is due out on the 10th of November on Heavenly Records. You can listen to the remix of ‘Move With The Season’ below the tour date listing. Tickets for the following Temples shows go on sale tomorrow, Friday the 29th of August, at 9 AM.

Continuing their comeback effort, The Kooks will follow their summer festival appearances, which included Glastonbury as well as Reading and Leeds, with a full headline tour of the UK this November. Their new album ‘Listen’ is due out on the 1st of September; tickets for the following shows go on sale this Friday the 29th of August at 9 AM.

Manchester indie rockers the Courteeners have recently announced a lengthy tour of the UK for this autumn in support of their fourth album ‘Concrete Love’ (reviewed here by our own editor Mary).
