The View / September and October 2015 UK Tour

Scottish indie pop rockers The View have announced an autumn tour of the UK to follow the release of their upcoming fifth LP ‘Ropewalk’, which is due for release on the 11th of September.  Appropriately dubbed ‘The Ropewalk Tour’, the newly-announced run of headline dates will culminate in back-to-back shows at the Edinburgh Liquid Rooms on the 4th and 5th of October.

Tickets for the following shows go on sale this Friday, the 24th of July, at 9 AM.  Below the tour date listing, you can hear the official audio for the first single from ‘Ropewalk’, titled ‘Under the Rug’.  Past TGTF coverage of The View is right back here.

Lucy Rose / October and November 2015 UK/Irish Tour

Warwickshire singer/songwriter Lucy Rose has just announced a lengthy tour of the UK and Ireland for October and November in support of her upcoming second album ‘Work It Out’.  The album is due for release on the 6th of July via Columbia Records and is being billed as a move away from Rose’s familiar folk sound, “creating a bold new context” for her singing voice and acoustic guitar.  You can stream the audio for Rose’s latest single ‘Like An Arrow’ just below the tour date listing.

After her full summer schedule of festival appearances, which is set to include Bushstock, T in the Park, and Reading and Leeds, Rose will embark on the following list of headline dates, which go on sale tomorrow, Friday the 29th of May, at 10 AM.  Our extensive previous coverage of Lucy Rose can be found right back here.

Catfish and the Bottlemen / October and November 2015 UK Tour

Arguably the hottest indie rock act of 2015, Catfish and the Bottlemen have announced that they will follow their sold out spring tour with more live dates in the UK this autumn.  The band’s previously announced November shows at London’s Brixton Academy are already sold out, but the new dates include a back-to-back booking at the Manchester Apollo.  Catfish and the Bottlemen will also appear at a slew of upcoming summer festivals, including Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, T In the Park, Latitude and Festival No. 6.

The next single from Catfish and the Bottlemen’s debut album ‘The Balcony’ released last year will be the acoustic ballad ‘Hourglass’.  The video for ‘Hourglass’, which features actor Ewan McGregor, can be viewed below the tour date listing.  Tickets for the following shows go on general sale tomorrow, Friday the 29th of May, at 10 AM.

Fall Out Boy / October 2015 UK Tour

American stadium rockers Fall Out Boy have just announced a massive arena tour of the UK for this October. The announcement coincided with their intimate show at London’s Islington Assembly Rooms last night, leading up to the release of their sixth album ‘American Beauty / American Psycho’ next Monday, on the 19th of January. The video for the album’s title track has already garnered over two million views on YouTube; if you haven’t seen it already, you can watch it below the tour date listing. Tickets for the following shows go on sale tomorrow, Friday the 16th of January, at 9 AM.

The View / March and April 2015 UK Tour

Dundee’s The View have revealed a UK tour for March and April 2015. Tickets are on sale now.

They’re finishing up their fifth album, which can be preordered on their PledgeMusic page, where you can also buy tickets. The LP, whose name is still unknown, has an expected release date of spring 2015.

The Coronas / March and April 2015 UK Tour

Irish quartet The Coronas have announced a March tour of the UK in support of their upcoming new album ‘The Long Way’, out this week on Island Records. A lengthier follow-up to their sold out October tour, this set of live dates includes shows at Birmingham’s Academy 3 and Manchester’s Deaf Institute before the final date at Koko in London on the 1st of April. Tickets for the following shows will be available starting on this Friday, the 28th of November, at 9 AM.
