The 1975 / January 2019 UK Tour

Arguably Manchester’s biggest pop band of the moment The 1975 will be releasing their third album in November. You can get your mitts on ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’ from Dirty Hit Records starting on the 30th of November. Naturally, the band will be touring the UK in support of their new record, but they’ve decided to wait until the start of next year to begin the UK leg of their campaign. Support for these shows will come from their buddies Pale Waves and no rome. Tickets to the following tour dates will go on sale next Friday, the 21st of September at 9 AM. Check out the video for ‘TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME’, starring a platinum blond Matty Healy no less, at the bottom of this post. We’ve written a fair bit on The 1975 here on TGTT, including this Bands to Watch piece back in 2012 that I’m pretty proud of, and you can read through all of our articles on the band through here.

About Us

There Goes The Fear is where we tell you about the latest music, gigs, and tours we love and think you should too.

We love music that has its heart on its sleeve, tells a story, swims around our head all day or makes us dance like no-one's watching.

TGTF is edited by Mary Chang, who is based in Washington, DC. She is joined by writers in England, America and Ireland. It began as a UK music blog by Phil Singer in 2005.

All MP3s are posted with the permission of the artists or their representatives and are for sampling only. Like the music? Buy it.
