Jealous of the Birds, aka Naomi Hamilton and her live band, have been riding high off the back of being tipped by numerous outlets, including ours, following her appearances at Hard Working Class Heroes 2016 and SXSW 2017. In July, the eclectic Northern Irish singer/songwriter will be releasing a new EP, ‘The Moths of What I Want Will Eat Me in My Sleep’ on Hand in Hive (UK and Europe) and Canvasback Music (America) on the 13th of July. One of the EP tracks, ‘Plastic Skeletons’, was previously unveiled just prior to her appearances at The Great Escape 2018, at which this editor sadly arrived too late to catch her at Jubilee Square Friday afternoon. The single now has its own music video. This one’s special to the artist, as it was filmed by Libby Burke Wilde on the way to and at a gig at Belfast Menagerie, less than an hour out of the singer’s home of Portadown. Watch it below, and stay tuned for the EP smack dab in the middle of summer. For all of our past coverage on Jealous of the Birds, use this link.
