If you haven’t heard of Hatchie yet, hurry up. Harriette Pilbeam is from Brisbane, Australia, and is already a big deal back home in Oz. Last September, the synth-driven pop star was a darling at BIGSOUND 2017, Australia’s premier emerging music festival, having been prepared for her blowing up on triple j Unearthed shortly after uploading her debut single on their Web site. She’ll be making her UK debut next month with a series of live dates and appearances at the trifecta of Live at Leeds, Liverpool Sound City and the Great Escape. The live shows are ahead of the release of the ‘Sugar & Spice’ EP on the 25th of May on Heavenly Recordings. Excited yet? Check out the promo for ‘Sleep’, taken from the upcoming EP, below. Stay tuned: this talented young lady’s rocket is about to shoot up into the stratosphere.
