Video of the Moment #2824: Superorganism

International music collective now based on London Superorganism were a huge draw at SXSW 2018, performing in the enviable first spot in the BBC Radio 1 and Department of International Trade sponsored showcase Saturday night last month to help close out the event. While they weren’t my favourite in Austin, they had plenty of overzealous fans at Latitude 30 that night. You can read more about their appearance in my review here. I’m sure all those fans have bought their self-titled debut out now on Domino Records, which includes the promo video we have for you here tonight. As you would reasonably expect, the visuals in ‘Night Time’ are colourful and wigged out as the visuals I saw in Austin that last night of SXSW. You like that sort of thing? You’ll love this. You know where I stand. The band have announced an October 2018 UK tour and before that, they’ll be hitting Live at Leeds, Liverpool Sound City and The Great Escape next month.
