(Charity!) Video of the Moment #2087: Manic Street Preachers

The Welsh enjoy their sport. They really do. So it totally makes sense that legendary Welsh band Manic Street Preachers would get involved in some way with the Welsh footy squad for their campaign in EURO 2016.

They’ve written and recorded ‘Together Stronger (C’Mon Wales)’, the official Welsh EURO 2016 song, to support their countrymen’s bid in the tourney. Its accompanying video stars Wales National Team Manager Chris Coleman and members of the Wales squad at training. Even better, all profits from the sale of the song will go to Welsh health charities the Princes Gate Trust and Tenovus Cancer Care. The song goes on sale this coming Friday, the 20th of May, the same day as Manic Street Preachers’ own 20th anniversary e-issue of their hugely successful fourth album ‘Everything Must Go’. ‘Everything Must Go 20’ will be available in box set, double CD and digital formats. Past coverage of Manic Street Preachers on TGTF can be found through here.
