Video of the Moment #2085: Lonely the Brave

Not long at all to go for Lonely the Brave‘s new album ‘Things Will Matter’. It will drop at all the usual high street and digital retailers in a week. To get a feel for their live performance, scroll back to Steven’s review of their set at Handmade Festival 2016 that posted on TGTF yesterday here. This is worth your time, as they’re set to begin the May leg of their latest English tour next week (all the details this way).

While I was in Canada last week for Canadian Music Week 2016, I missed out on posting their latest video. This promo for the Cambridge alt-rock band’s ‘Rattlesnakes’ has a dark, foreboding look, but the actual song itself sounds life-affirming, anthemic, and unless I missed them, is entirely devoid of its slithering beings named in its title. Watch it below. Stay tuned for ‘Things Will Matter’ on the 20th of May on Hassle Records, and pre-order it if you fancy it.

About Us

There Goes The Fear is where we tell you about the latest music, gigs, and tours we love and think you should too.

We love music that has its heart on its sleeve, tells a story, swims around our head all day or makes us dance like no-one's watching.

TGTF is edited by Mary Chang, who is based in Washington, DC. She is joined by writers in England, America and Ireland. It began as a UK music blog by Phil Singer in 2005.

All MP3s are posted with the permission of the artists or their representatives and are for sampling only. Like the music? Buy it.
