Video of the Moment #2049: The Spook School

Edinburgh band The Spook School were one of a handful of Scottish acts who showcased at this year’s SXSW 2016. Carrie got a chance to talk to them after their appearance at Cheer Up Charlie’s Monday, one of their many shows all week in Austin, and you can hear her chat with them here.

Hot off the heels of the announcement they will be supporting fellow Scots PAWS on a UK tour in April, they now have a new music video for ‘Speak When You’re Spoken To’. The song appears on their current Fortuna Pop! album ‘Try to Be Hopeful’. The promo itself stars comedian Josie Along and comedian collective Pappy’s, and as you might imagine, it’s got its humorous moments, as well as a bittersweet (but appropriate) end. Somehow I thin it’ll be my top video for 2016, it’s that great! Watch it below.
