(SXSW 2016 flavoured!) Video of the Moment #2016: POP ETC

By on Wednesday, 17th February 2016 at 6:00 pm

POP ETC – formerly known as The Morning Benders in a previous life, not too far in the distant past – released their second album ‘Souvenir’ under their all-capitalised band name in late January. Yesterday, they revealed the video for ‘Please, Don’t Forget Me’, which appears on the new LP. Its charmingly lo-fi film style of a couple succumbing to puppy love follows last year’s lyric video for ‘Bad Break’. Watch it below.

POP ETC are scheduled to showcase at SXSW 2016, and their visit to Austin is in the middle of a month-long American tour with Liverpool’s Banners (check out our introduction to Mike Nelson’s solo career here) and Utah’s The Moth and the Flame. Read all of TGTF’s past coverage on the now Brooklyn-based trio here.
