Video of the Moment #1947: The Cribs

By on Monday, 2nd November 2015 at 6:00 pm

Following the conclusion of their latest UK headline tour this past Thursday in Portsmouth, the Cribs have unveiled the latest promo video from their current album ‘For All My Sisters’, which was released this past spring. Disappointingly, ‘Summer of Chances’ features no feral pigs, but it does feature Gary Jarman taking lead vocals over a karaoke-style video presentation, complete with Japanese characters being ‘lit up’ as they do in karaoke bars. It all happens over aerial scenes of Japan. According to this article at the Line of Best Fit, this promo offered them the opportunity to collaborate with longtime fan and artist Hiromix and pay tribute to the country of Japan and all their supporters there, and it was filmed in the Shibuya district of Tokyo. Watch it below.
