Video of the Moment #1939: Gengahr

As John alluded to this Bands to Watch feature on the band prior to them going out to SXSW 2015, Gengahr have always been a bit…well…spooky. (And it’s not just because their name sounds like a villainous video game character, which the band admitted to Never Enough Notes was their inspiration.) This image hasn’t changed even after the release of their debut album on Transgressive Records, ‘A Dream Outside’, which dropped in June. (You can read my review of the debut here.) They also have finished up a major UK headline tour.

They’ve done so well on their first outing, now they’ve also got a deluxe version of ‘A Dream Outside’ that includes their surprise EP ‘Tired Eyes’ that appeared this month. The title track of the EP has its own promo video that owes much to both the band’s own devoted fans and October’s most important holiday, Halloween (duh). Have a watch of it below.

For all of our past coverage on TGTF on Gengahr, go here. The deluxe version of ‘A Dream Outside’ is available now from Transgressive Records.
