Video of the Moment #1911: Get Inuit

Kent band Get Inuit will be releasing their next EP, the all too cute-titled and probably not Winter Olympics-related (?) ‘Luge Lessons’, on the 16th of October on Alcopop Records. Ahead of that, they’ve made available the EP track ‘I Am the Hot Air’, a live favourite of mine from seeing them at the Great Escape 2015, first at Alcopop’s showcase Friday at Pav Tav, then at Saturday’s Great Day Out.
The promo for ‘I Am the Hot Air’ is essentially a hard-rocking performance video, with the band members taking turns performing as the artistic treatments or on top of them change colour. The words on the bass drum also change throughout the video, though I haven’t strung them together yet to figure out if it works out to a philosophical poem or something. Watch the video below.
The band have been confirmed to be supporting fellow Kent band Broken Hands on their UK tour in late October / early November. Past coverage of Get Inuit on TGTF is this way.
