Video of the Moment #1816: Asylums

I’m suffering from Great Escape 2015 withdrawal. There is just something to be said about music by the seaside. This includes music that is made by the seaside too. Asylums are from Southend-on-Sea, and I’m sure they’d be the first to say their freewheeling, DIY rock attitude comes from the town of their birth and can’t be reproduced in the confines of, say, a London or a Manchester. Check out below their upcoming single ‘Joy in a Small Wage’, which will be released on the 15th of June on the band’s own Cool Thing Records.
