Video of the Moment #1786: Monarchy

Sometimes less is more when it comes to electronic music. I’d say that’s definitely the case with ‘Fractured World’, from Monarchy‘s latest and crowd-funded album ‘Abnocto’, which was released last month on the London via Oz electronic duo’s own Hacan Records. While the song lacks the sexy edge that ‘Dancing in the Corner’ revealed to us in January, ‘Fractured World’ buzzes along, the lyrics against the melody’s tempered freneticism, while the promo takes advantage of the reds, oranges and blacks of Russian constructivism in a tangram display.
