(SXSW 2015 flavoured!) Video of the Moment #1763: Happyness

Lo-fi alt-rock trio from London Happyness will be in America next week for SXSW 2015, and in case you haven’t noticed, we’ve gone a bit post happy when it comes to talking about the music festival. The band’s album ‘Weird Little Birthday’ is getting its release in America in April, as the 2.0 version of the original that dropped in the UK last year. ‘A Whole New Shape’ from the reissue now has a promo video that isn’t as trippy as ‘Anything I Do is All Right’, but it basically makes you feel like you’re stood inside a kaleidoscope, with lenses blurring your vision. See what I mean when you watch the video below.

Jonny Allan from the band was kind enough to answer the SXSW 2015-flavoured version of our Quickfire Questions last month ahead of the big event in Austin, and you can read his answers here. Want to read up on past coverage on Happyness on TGTF? Right this way.

Among other appearances in Austin, catch Happyness perform at their official showcase Saturday night (the 21st of March) at the British Music Embassy’s NME and PRS for Music night at Latitude 30 at 11 PM.
