MP3 of the Day #857: Glass Animals

The latest remix of Glass Animals‘ ‘Gooey’ is a unique one. Harlem-based producer Mike Slott‘s background is rooted in jazz and classical music, which seems like a total mismatch to Glass Animals’ oozy, woozy psychedelic groove style.

You’ll be surprised though with Slott’s treatment, as it’s so different from all the other remixes you’d have already heard on the ‘Gooey’ EP: instead of throwing everything at it and adding a massive number of layers on top of the original, Slott chose to go minimalist, it’s almost ghostly in its New Age-dness. Listen to and download it for free below.
