Video of the Moment #899: Django Django

Django Django‘s new video for ‘Hail Bop’ shows a futuristic version of the myth of Sisyphus (with lead singer Vincent Neff pushing the stone) while the rest of the band is in various modes of repose. While previous videos of theirs like ‘Storm’ have been psychedelically trippy, this is futuristic trippy. What happens when he’s pushed the stone to the top? Well, you’ll just have to watch the video below to find out.

And good news, North American readers: the album will be out on Ribbon Music digitally on the 14th of August, with the physical to follow on the 25th of September. I smell an upcoming North American tour, especially with NPR picking up this video, so make sure you’re ahead of the curve and are on top of any future gig announcements.
