MP3 of the Day (and more!) #592: To Kill a King

To Kill a King have made their new EP, ‘Word of Mouth’, available for free. You can get it from the band’s Bandcamp in exchange for signing up for their mailing list here. Catch them on tour in October.

To give you a taste of what the EP’s like, here is the band’s new video for ‘Rays’, which features on the release. Watch it below. Singer Ralph Pelleymounter sounds remarkably like Charlie Fink of Noah and the Whale, and if you needed any more evidence of their street cred, the Guardian’s Paul Lester reported Laura Marling and Ted Dwane of Mumford and Sons grooving at their music at one of their early London shows last year.

I am really digging this new song from To Kill a King. Rays is just perfect now that the weather has brightened up. I will be playing this for a party I am hosting this weekend. Cheers!
