Oxford’s Spring Offensive have come up with an interesting proposition for Valentine’s Day this year. They’ve been hard at work on a 5-song EP called ‘Between Me and You’. I mean, really, just by the title, you can tell this was custom made for the day celebrating love and affection.

The band are obviously well aware of and sympathetic to those affected by the credit crunch. So much that 1) you can preview the EP tracks below for free, so you can decide before you buy and 2) you can choose how much or how little you want to buy the EP for. Anyone who pays £4.00 or more for the EP will be see their full names credited on all physical copies of their upcoming full band single, ‘A Stutter & A Start’, due out in April. The band is going to use each and every contribution for ‘Between Me and You’ will help record, release and promote their music. So it’s win-win for everyone.

Here’s the rub: the EP will only be available from the Spring Offensive official Web site for 1 week, starting today (14 February 2011). Whether you choose to pay-what-you-like and have your name included on their upcoming single or even if you just download it for free, make your decision quick to avoid disappointment!
