MP3 of the Day (and more!) #293: Jon Fratelli

Scottish band the Fratellis have been on hiatus since 2009, with lead singer/guitarist Jon Fratelli going on to co-found Codeine Velvet Club. Then he decided he wanted to go solo. Still following on? Good.

You’re probably wondering what Jon been up to, and here’s something new for you to sink your teeth into. Called ‘Rhythm Doesn’t Make You A Dancer’, it’s a taster to the album he just finished recording (yet to be titled) and being given away as a celebration that his work on the new recording is complete. I like to think it’s a good-natured knock to Snap!’s 1992 hit ‘Rhythm is a Dancer’. Seriously. Watch the video and be prepared to laugh. (Unless of course you take line dancing seriously.)
