Video of the Moment #395: Jamie Woon

Jamie Woon‘s music isn’t usually the sort of thing I listen to, though his general vibe is very soulful (Boys II Men with only one bloke and less dance sensibility, maybe?) and I guess I better give him more of my time, as he won’t be going away for a long time. I will admit my initial scepticism had to do with him being tipped by both BBC Sound of 2011 and MTV Brand New for 2011 seemingly out of nowhere.

But I was trained as a biologist and well, if you watch the HD promo video for ‘Night Air’ below, you’ll see why I like it. Yay for genus Mantodea! ::end boffin geekiness::

About Us

There Goes The Fear is where we tell you about the latest music, gigs, and tours we love and think you should too.

We love music that has its heart on its sleeve, tells a story, swims around our head all day or makes us dance like no-one's watching.

TGTF is edited by Mary Chang, who is based in Washington, DC. She is joined by writers in England, America and Ireland. It began as a UK music blog by Phil Singer in 2005.

All MP3s are posted with the permission of the artists or their representatives and are for sampling only. Like the music? Buy it.
