(Holiday) Video of the Moment #366: Bear Driver

Here is a holiday-themed offering from a Leeds band. It was the sweetest thing to get this message in my email: “I just thought I’d give you a wintery update from the cold cold homes of Bear Driver, where we bears have been busily recording a festive song to warm frost-bit ears.”

Can I get a big “awwww!”

So here’s more explanation: Bear Driver decided to cover ‘Walking in the Air’, a song from the film ‘The Snowman’. What’s especially cool about the video is that it was filmed by Norwegian artist Frode Sten Jacobsen, whose marvellous stop-motion film featuring snow, Norway and kids in jumpsuits warmed the hearts of those in the band. And it’s sure to warm your heart as well.

You can hear the track by heading on over to the band’s blog.
