Video of the Moment #310: Stornoway

We do like a bit of Stornoway‘s bloke-folk here at TGTF. Ever since they were announced as one of the acts on the BBC Sound of 2010 long list, their star has been rising, and the two sets of brothers have recently released their album ‘Beachcomber’s Windowsill’ that Emmy reviewed last month. The English folk rock scene is getting a wee bit crowded these days, but should you need convincing that Stornoway is a band to keep tabs on, watch this Watch Listen and Tell session featuring the group playing ‘I Saw You Blink’ within the pretty confines of a conservatory. Gorgeous.

About Us

There Goes The Fear is where we tell you about the latest music, gigs, and tours we love and think you should too.

We love music that has its heart on its sleeve, tells a story, swims around our head all day or makes us dance like no-one's watching.

TGTF is edited by Mary Chang, who is based in Washington, DC. She is joined by writers in England, America and Ireland. It began as a UK music blog by Phil Singer in 2005.

All MP3s are posted with the permission of the artists or their representatives and are for sampling only. Like the music? Buy it.
