Video of the Moment #155: The Dead Weather

American supergroup the Dead Weather is a little harder sounding than I normally like my music to be. I did however really like the edginess to their previous single, ‘Treat Me Like Your Mother’, with Alison Mosshart and Jack White‘s growly vocals. In contrast to that song’s sparse, black and white promo video, the video for their forthcoming single ‘I Cut Like a Buffalo’ is colourful, featuring White posturing like a goth Willy Wonka, ginger-headed belly dancers, and other attempts at video artsiness. The guitar groove is killer too. Check it out. Go on. I dare you.

The Dead Weather’s single for ‘I Cut Like a Buffalo’ will drop on 26 October.
