MP3 of the Day #82: Cheatahs

By on Friday, 26th June 2009 at 10:00 am

A new project from Little Death’s guitarist Nathan Hewitt, Cheatahs

Apparently:

Based on acoustic guitar and amplified through Garageband Cheatahs is a lo-fi noise-pop solo project. Recorded at home and by himself, Nathan’s songs evoke the sensibilities of punk rock experimentation and deviation but are firmly rooted in traditional pop structures. Skate-punk nihilism and introverted obsession are underlining themes in his often self-depricating lyrics and an adolescent “dungeons and dragons” undertone helps keep everything from becoming too serious.

Quite.
