I did intend to do a full top ten, but seeing as I ran out of time I’m gonna list (in no particular order) my top albums of 2008…
We’ve looked at the best albums and videos of 2008, but what about the live gigs we attended? We give you our top ten of the best live events we’ve been to.
It’s been a pretty amazing year, musically. Tonnes of amazing new albums, returns to form and great new artists. Here are some of the best albums of 2008.
As Delays get closer and closer to the release of their new EP, Love Made Visible (out November 12th), more and more news leaks out about them…
Sunday saw them play a quick acoustic set at Southampton’s Joiners’ Oxjam festival (click for photos and review), which sounds like it was amazing (as could be expected). See videos of three new songs here, here, and here.
I’ve mentioned it time and time again, but Delays are one of my favourite bands these days, and as news slowly leaks about their forthcoming EP and Album, I get more and more excited about it.
Today’s new announcement (well, find by a forum member) sees shots of their new video being posted on flickr - it looks like it was a messy affair!
This is in addition to the first play of “Love Made Visible: The Torchteam remix” on XFM the other week - a link to a radio rip is here.
In case you haven’t the time to listen, the track is AMAZING. It’s like the first play of Valentine - simply amazing!
