The first details of 2010’s V Festival have been announced.
Kings of Leon and Kasabian are the two headliners, whilst Stereophonics, Faithless and the Prodigy all play the most commercial of the big music festivals.
Playing Chelmsford on Saturday and Staffordshire on the Sunday will be:

David Guetta, Pet Shop Boys, Florence and the Machine, Mika, The Temper Trap, La Roux, Sugababes, Ellie Goulding, White Lies, Scouting for Girls, Paloma Faith, Plan B, Groove Armada, Kate Nash, Goldfrapp, Newton Faulkner, Imogen Heap and Cheryl Cole all play too on days yet to be decided.
The 2010 event takes place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd August, with the bill transferring between Staffordshire’s Weston Park and Chelmsford’s Hylands Park as normal. It’s the 15th year of the event.

Tickets are on sale at 9am on Friday morning (5th March), and cost £165.00 for a weekend pass with camping, £140.00 weekend pass without camping, £78.50 day ticket.
