Sam Lewis / February and March 2019 UK Tour

Nashville-based singer/songwriter Sam Lewis will make his first trip to the UK in over two years at the beginning of 2019, with a list of live headline dates announced for February and March. Ahead of those shows, Lewis is slated to play at AmericanaFest UK at the end of January, presumably featuring songs from his fantastic recent LP release ‘Loversity.’ If you haven’t listened to that album yet, I highly encourage it; you can check out its second single ‘Natural Disaster’ at the bottom of the page.

According to Lewis’ official Facebook, further headline shows may be added to the following list. Keep an eye on his Facebook listing for updated information. TGTF’s coverage of Sam Lewis from SXSW 2018 is right back this way.

Siv Jakobsen and friends / October 2017 UK Tour

Norwegian indie folk artist Siv Jakobsen has announced a list of live dates in the UK this October, following the release of her debut LP ‘The Nordic Mellow’, due out on the 25th of August. For this very special round of shows, Jakobsen will be touring with up-and-coming Bristol songstress Fenne Lily and TGTF alumni Paul Thomas Saunders and Sivu. (Longtime readers might recall that Saunders and Sivu have co-headlined a tour before, back in 2014.)

Duke Special / March, April and May 2015 UK/Irish Tour

Northern Irish singer/songwriter Duke Special has just unveiled a lengthy list of UK and Irish tour dates for next spring in anticipation of his upcoming album ‘Look Out Machines’. The album is due for release in 2015 via Duke Special’s current PledgeMusic campaign, but he’s already released a video for its first single ‘Elephant Graveyard’, which you can view below the tour date listing.

Prior to his spring live dates, Duke Special will take on an extensive tour of Ireland and Northern Ireland starting in January; all of those dates are listed on his official Web site. Previous TGTF coverage of Duke Special can be found here.

Support for Duke Special’s March UK tour dates will be provided by London singer/songwriter Paul Cook and The Chronicles. Tickets for the following shows are available now.

Country and blues singer/songwriter Jon Allen has just released his third studio album ‘Deep River’, as well as announcing a string of UK tour dates in support of the release. ‘Night and Day’, the first single from ‘Deep River’, was playlisted on BBC Radio 2 earlier this year; if you missed it there, you can take a listen to a live version of it below the tour date listing. Ahhh, Joshua Radin. Friend of Scrubs’ Zach Braff and all round top notch singer/songwriter. After catching him in London back in March, he’s decided he loves England so much he’s coming back for a proper tour, supporting Jools Holland on some dates and then some other shows on his own.
