Kaiser ChiefsKaiser Chiefs have announced a UK arena tour to cap off their year. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday morning at 9am via their ticket shop, or via usual sources at 9am on Friday.

Support for all dates comes from We Are Scientists and The Little Ones.

Athlete / Secret Gig / 5 July

AthleteAthlete have announced that they will be playing a “secret” low key gig in South East London next Thursday, 5th July. Apparently the venue is easily accessibly by bus, DLR and British Rail. Full details of the location of the gig will be sent out with the tickets a few days before the event.

200 tickets will be available from their official website at 9am tomorrow (Tuesday 26th June).

Art BrutThose crazy crazy Art Brut guys (you know, those Bournemouth guys who are more famous in Germany than they are here) have announced that they’ll be playing a special instore show at HMV Oxford Street.

It’ll be this Tuesday (26th June) at 6pm, and is in support of their new album, It’s A Bit Complicated, which is out today!

British Sea Power announce Lincoln date

British Sea PowerEveryone’s favourite British Sea Power (remember them? They have greenery and stuff on stage) have announced a one off date at the Engine Shed in Lincoln. They’ll play there on Friday 20th July. Tickets are available now from the box office by phoning 0871 4244555, Booking fees and postage charge apply.

This is as a warm up for their dates at Lodestar festival on Saturday 1st September and then End of the Road Festival on Sunday 16th September

TGTF is edited by Mary Chang, who is based in Washington, DC. She is joined by writers in England, America and Ireland. It began as a UK music blog by Phil Singer in 2005.
