Video of the Moment #766: Bruce Springsteen

As I think many of you know, we’re always busy promoting the little guy and not in the business of promoting megastars. Generally anyway. He’s a bit like marmite for me, but I know a lot of you love Bruce Springsteen, keynote music speaker at SXSW this year. Below is the performance-type video for ‘Death to My Hometown’. Enjoy it, if he rings your bells. I’ve also included his known appearances in the UK this summer, current as of today.

Video of the Moment #764: The Twilight Sad

By on Friday, 13th April 2012 at 6:00 pm

In the Twilight Sad‘s new video for ‘Dead City’, a group of older folks move and groove to James Graham and co.’s song. We’ve been told a remix version of ‘No One Can Ever Know’ (their fab new album released this year; read my review here).

They recently performed at SXSW and Mary was there to catch their appearance at the Discovering Scotland showcase; read all about it here. That must be one lucky shirt because take a look at the photo at the top of this post; James was wearing the same shirt at that very showcase! Fancy seeing them live? Well, you’re in luck. The band have also announced a series of English gigs in May and two summer festival dates, as well as an appearance at Glasgow Barrowland on the 15th of December. In case you’re looking that far ahead…
